How to give your pet eye medication

September 19, 2012

Eye problems are, unfortunately, very common, especially in our short nosed, round faced canine friends like Pugs and Pekingese and also with some pedigreed kitties like Persians and Himalayans. Typical problems result from injuries and/or infections and may involve the globe itself as well as the eyelids and surrounding facial tissue. Infections are likely bacterial and/or viral in origin. Occasionally, a fungus can be the culprit.

Dr. Nichols and the Crestway staff always urge you to call immediately if you suspect that your pet has an eye problem. Please contact our office today at 210-657-6747
